Community Outreach

Since 2005, Grecycle works, and the Pima County Regional Waste Water Reclamation Department has put on the Annual Grease Drive. Drop-off locations are set up and staffed by volunteers, allowing residents a place to properly dispose of waste cooking oils.
The next event is planned for January 10, 2026, 9am-1pm.
Grecycle also works with U of A's Engineers Without Borders, Tuscon Earth Day, and fuel for "The Physics Factory."

Used cooking oils should never be poured down your drain. Instead, store them in containers and bring them to donate at the 20th Annual Grease Collection and Recycling Event!
